Witnessing Climate Change

Climate Scientists have been documenting the planetary warming trends for decades yet a significant portion of the population in the United States and Europe continue to doubt climate science.  This project attempts to harness the power of storytelling and first-person observation to help audiences understand the many impacts climate change is already having.  These are the stories of scientists, farmers, fishermen, and everyday citizens.

Based in The Department of Information Science and Media Studies in Media City at the University of Bergen and funded by a Fulbright Scholarship and support from the School of Communication at Florida State University, the Climate Witness Project adds new voices to the climate narrative as witnesses describe the changes they are seeing right before their eyes.
