ABOUT US

The Climate Witness Project is a collaborative project between faculty and students at the University of Bergen.  Led by Professor Andy Opel with research support from a Fulbright Scholarship and Florida State University, this project employs both traditional documentary video as well as 360/Virtual Reality creative products to help audiences gain new insights into the impacts climate change is already having.

 

In January 2020, Opel will be joining Professor Lars Nyre, two doctoral students and a team of undergraduate students in the Media Interaction and Design program in Media City at the University of Bergen.  This class, MIX202 will have climate change communication as the thematic focus and include multiple Norwegian media industry partners.
